Can a "post/thread" be saved and not printed?

I have found so many wonderful tips that it would be nice to save them somewhere rather than have to print them out (lazy me). Is that possible? Also, how do people reference other threads? Often the answer is a hyperlink - how do you do that?

Thanks,

Well, you just copy the url from the browser...

And, you can add a post to your favorites (At the top, the 5th item, 'Favorites' lists all the posts that you have marked). To do that, just go to the post that you want, and at the bottom right, there's a link that reads 'Add to favorites'... simple as that !
