Just wondering if the following is possible

Lets say a user selects a value from a Data Validation list in say Sheet 1 cell A2 football Team for example)

On sheet 2 there is a column in Say A1:A100 of football teams

Can that column be auto filtered just to show the selection made in Sheet1 A2 without the user having to use a slicer or the drop down ?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Are you actually using Excel 365 or Excel 2010 (you have both listed)?

If you are using Excel 365, you may be able to use the new FILTER function to return what you want, if you have that list in separate location, and then use the function to return all the rows/columns meeting your filter requirements.

See here for more information on the new FILTER function: FILTER function - Microsoft Support
