Hi, I have a table that contains a date range when people arrive and depart certain properties.. I need to figure out how many days of each given date range (row), is in Q1, A2, etc. For example, if the date range is 6/29 - 7/4, then based on the 4qtr's starting 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1, we would have 2 days i qtr 2 and 4 days in qtr 3.... Once I know this I can multiple the average daily rate (rate/# of nights).. Can anybody tell me what formula can look at my range and spit back the number of days in each quarter? Thanks, Monte

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Just another example on so.. if the daterange was 1/1/13-7/5/13, I would want to see Q1: 90days, Q2:90days, Q3:5days, or for example 09/20/13 - 10/05/13 = Q3: 10days, Q4: 5days - in other words, I need the # of days per quarter for each range. Monte:nya:
