Is it possible to bring up some sort of calendar in Access on which the user can click on a date in the future and add some sort of event, and then about a month before the scheduled event it will pop up with a message box with the date and event entered?

Hi,

2 separate things really!

You can use the 'calender control' to store a date into a table with the relevent information from a user form, with other controls.

You then need to scan that stored 'Table' data to alert you to the fact that it's a month in advance.

What your asking isn't too tricky, could you please expand on what exactly you want this function to achieve and how you need it to alert the user.
Also what sort of environment you want it to be built into?

Hi
Thanks for replying.
What I was thinking fo doing was having some sort of popup calendar interface so that the user could click on a certain date and enter some event, like a meeting, on that day, after that it would ask the user how long before the event he wanted to be notified.
Then say, when the time came to be notified of that event it would pop up with a message box as soon as the database started that day with a message like "Start report on..." etc.
