Good Morning,
I had a few ideas but most of them involved recreating the calendar and I haven't done that yet...anyway
A user came to me asking about formatting a sheet he's got.
The workbook is a simple "Planner" for work tours: He inputs a day, then inputs the number of days he's going to work and it spits out a "return date", simple enough. This on/off set of formulas just repeats a series of times so he can plan his work schedules out two years in advance (90 day work tours).
He's created a rudimentary calendar just using cells/outlining/and inputting the months such. There's no real formatting behind it- just user input information- so excel has no idea that it's a calendar. He's colored the days home and days away (two colors) manually. Anyone have a simple idea on how to redo this so that the days will self-color based on falling within the date range of "at work" or "at home"? My thought is that the calendar needs to be recreated or somehow excel told to recognize that it's a calendar.
Thanks!
