Hi

I have a workbook and what im trying to do is get a difference calculated but keep getting #VALUE!

What im trying to do is in row X , lets take X9 as a example, is X9 needs data from D12,D13,D42,D45 added together as one amount and data in Y9 I need data from H12,H26,H45,O34 all added together as one amount

This then give a diference in column Z of then moves figure to D or H 50 depending if a positive or negative figure.
As stated I keep getting #VALUE!

I think its something to do with the formulas in D13 and H12 but I need them there for calculation too.
Any ideas? Workbook enclosed in link below.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
What are the two formulae you have in x9 & Y9?

There no formula in cell x9 and y9 apart from adding up. I think the issue is in cells D13 and H12 where I’m getting the data from.

If there aren't any formulae in those cells how are they giving a #value error?

I have in cell x9 this =SUM(D12,D13,D42,D45) and thats fine. In cell Y9 I have =SUM(H12+H25+H44) but Y9 coming up with #value!

Change + signs in Y9 to commas.
