Hi there,

I am creating a calculator in Excel which I need to only go up to 99999 and once it does so I need it to go back to 0.

For example....99994 + 8 will return a value of 2 as opposed to 100002.

Any ideas on how I would do this?

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Thanks that does work but not in the way I need it to.

I didn't explain my self very well actually.

So....I have a table, in column C I enter figures manually, and said figures range from 0-99999. Column D & E perform some calculations using the figure in column C but what I need is for D & E to understand that if column C for example goes from 99999 to 1 it has gone forward by 2 and not back by 99998.

Hope that makes sense?

Not to me.

A concise example would help.
