Hi,

Is it possible to have a command button on every row of a sheet that when pressed, will unprotect the workbook, copy the whole row the button is on and paste it to another sheet to the first empty row and then re lock the workbook?

I basically have a lot of rows, with one row dedicated to one piece of work, once complete I would like a button for users to press at the end of the row that cuts and pastes the whole row onto a new spreadsheet.

I have been asking users to do this manually, but its leading to issues and want to minimise these moving forward. I would like to have some of the cells locked for editing but cannot at present as this stops the cut and paste.

Thanks

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
A much easier way to do that is to use the "beforedoubleclick" event to trigger a macro that copies the row that the double click is made on. If you dedicate a column with text saying something like "Copy to Archive" in every row and then format the column with wide border and a fill so it looks something like a button it will do the same thing and is very easily expand if you need extra rows and if you delete a row it will continue to work without moving a load of buttons
