Is there a way of a delaying a cell from performing the formula within that cell until a condition has been met?

For example
If F6 has the formula =SUM(C6-B6)+(E6-D6)
But i do not want Excel to perform the formula in cell F6 until cells B6, C6, D6 and D6 have been populated.

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Try:
Code:
=IF(COUNTBLANK(B6:E6)=0,(C6-B6)+(E6-D6),"")

Note that SUM serves no purpose in your formula. You use sum to add up all the values in a range designated like this: =SUM(A6:E6)
Since you are manually adding up single cells and already have plus and minus signs, it is totally unnecessary.
