Hi everyone :),

I have a spreadsheet where our dept. tracks vacation time taken / planned.

How do I create a formula where it can show vacation accrued to date...

accrual rate is .22 p/day or 1.54 wk

I want it to calculate the weekly accrual to current date ie... 1/1/12 to current date and then it will automatically update weekly.

hope this makes sense :)

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Welcome to MrExcel.

A simple formula for what you want is:

=DATEDIF( $F$1, F2, "d") * 0.22

Where F1 contains your starting date for the accrual period and F2 contains the date to be checked against.
