Hey everyone, I'm working on a sheet where I can calculate time from batch 1 to batch 2 where we run our process through the day but shutdown over night and these batches carry forward prat way through each day.

So for example on the 12th at 1 pm we started batch 2 and on the 13th we started batch 3 but we were shutdown for 7 hrs (yes i know the math is simple on this one but we go through hundreds per month so), i need it to subtract the shutdown difference or ignore it and just subtract the time if we dont shutdown and it takes less that one days runtime.

Thanks everybody

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
If I understand correctly, you want to subtract 13/06/2014 at 14:00 and 12/06/2024 at 13:00. Then remove the the 7-hour shutdown on 13/06/2024 at 7:00. Is this correct?

I have a feeling you haven't provided the entirety of what your actual data looks like, but based on what is in the OP you can try
