Looking for a good formula to calculate work hours.

I can create a simple D-C formula to get the daily hours, b ut the problem comes when I need to calculate total hours for the week.

I know it's something simple, I just can't think of it.

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
The total for the week should just be the sum of the individual days, unless I'm misunderstanding your request. Use a custom number format [h]:mm.

That does not work. For some reason F9, f16,f23 is not adding the hours correctly. See attached

Please check that all of your times are values (set format to number) and not text.

It worked in my version, and I can't really diagnose what's wrong with yours from a picture. This is what mine looks like when I changed the format to number for all cells.
