Calculating power trend using normal method not working

Hi nAll,

Im trying to calculate a power trend line. I've done this before but this one is causing me problems based on the

My method is as follows
1) Create power trend line
2) Display the trend line equation on the chart.
3) Use the following formula to derive a value for a specific time point:Value = (y intercept) X (Time Period x) ^ Slope
4) Drag along my required time points and plot. This usually site on the trend line exactly, then i delete the Power trendline

The issue is that the Y intercept value which normally site below 1 (Im %age erosion curves) now is 4E+203.
This wont allows the formula to work properly. Any ideas
