First time asking a question so hopefully this makes sense.
We have a business that we want to have 2 categories for customers A and B. We want customer A category to have a GP% of 40% and customer B of 45%.
There are 80 vendors we deal with that have various discounts off of the retail list price.
Is there a formula that I can use to easily figure out the discount to the customer to maintain that 40% GP% using either the discount or mark-up per vendor?
TIA
