I want to calculate a date with the following conditions. It must be at least two weeks into the future and must be a Friday.

For example - the base date is between 1/18/2003 - 1/24/2003 so the result should be 2/7/2003. Similarly, if the base date is 1/25/2003 - 1/31/2003 the result should be 2/14/2003.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this is much appreciated.

lardog, with this in a normal module you can use it in a query, report calcualtion, form control etc...

Function fGetFriDate(InDate)
If VarType(InDate) <> 7 Then
fGetFriDate = Null
Else
Select Case WeekDay(InDate)
Case 7 ' Sat
fGetFriDate = InDate + 20
Case Else ' Sun to Fri
fGetFriDate = InDate + 20 - WeekDay(InDate)
End Select
End If
End Function
