Hi,

I'm trying to figure out what I have done wrong here.

The formula in C6 =IF((INT((J5-B6)/365))>=64,"64-99",INT((J5-B6)/365))

Why is this returning 42 when it should be 41 ?

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
The result of the division is 42.00027...The integer part is 42. Why do you expect 41?

Need a little more details of what you're looking for. What if it's fraction of a year e.g. 41 years and 6 months. Do you always want to round down to the nearest integer?

Yes, I'm only interested in the integer. It should say 41 until his birthday, only then should it be 42 and stay that way until his next birthday.

Try:
Excel Formula:
=DATEDIF(B6,J5,"Y")
