I am attempting to calculate a conversion rate (by dividing 2 fields together.... leads / clients) in my pivot table. This is easy enough outside of the pivot tables function, but seeming difficult within pivot table.

Here is the breakdown:
I am setting up a pivot table with 2 field in the y axis, and no fields in the x axis. In the y axis, I have "Audience" and "Channel". In the data fields, I have "Sum of Leads" and "Sum of Clients". I need to add a third field that will divide clients into leads and resulst in a conversion rate.

Thoughts?

I tried the "Show data as" option and selected the "% of" field, but this does not seem to work. I can use the ""% of total" to get a percent of the total, but this is not helpful.

HELP!

hi,

the following may differe slightly from Excel version to version.

ensure you have the pivot table toolbar up and on that tool bar you will have Formulas, calculated field and calculated item.

i am not able enough to give you an explanation of each but try working with them, they will enable you to creat a new column in your pt based on your formula requirement and should give you excatly what your asking for.

hope it helps
