I am not sure if there is a way to add a calculated filed in a pivot table to display the result I am ultimately looking for. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Scenario is I have a pivot table showing the below values:

I am trying to get the cost per month values in as a calculated field. The calculation is the total claims paid value, divided by the count of system number and then multiplied by the count per month.

Not sure it is possible but hoping that it is.

Many thanks.

It is certainly possible if you have Power Pivot - you haven't updated your account details to show what version of Office you have; I recommend you do that as it will affect what options are available to you for pretty much every question! ;)
If you don't, you'd need to add a column to your data that just returns 1 for each row so that you can sum that as a count. Then you can simply divide one field by the other.

You can try with Calculated Filed > Created New with Name Cost by Month
After search Claim paid & System Number column in list blow to add Formula like this Image to create new column in your Pivot table. Then insert this filed name "Cost by month" just created to Value
