I have a text feild in an access table that I want to only get part of the information (the numbers after "-") out in a calculated feild in a query. eg:
12-34 returns 34
1-102 returns 102
22-101 returns 101
5-82 returns 82
And so on....

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
In a query, you can build a function to do that:

MyResult:Right([Table1]![MyString],Len([Table1]![MyString])-InStr(1,[Table1]![MyString],"-"))

Simply replace [Table1]![MyString] with the field that holds the information.
