Can someone please help me figure out the formula? I want to figure out if I clocked in at 6:34 am and forgot to clock out and was only supposed to work for 4 hours. The same if I forgot to clock in and but I clock out at 10:50 am what formula to use to let me know what time I should have clocked in if I'm only supposed to work for four hours?
time intime outhours worked
6:34:00 AM4
10:50:00 AM4

Thank you in advance

Once way to use hours in a calculation is to use the # of hours / 24. For one hour, you would use (1/24). In your case, for four hours, you can use 4/24.

Assuming A2 is the known Time In, and B3 is the known Time Out:

So the "Time Out" formula can be =A2+(4/24) and
the "Time In" formula can be = B3 - (4/24)
