This is the scenario:
A certain individual wishes to determine what it costs in gasoline each week to drive to school & back. The individual has a car and a motor cycle. On rainy days he drives the car, and on sunny days, the cycle. He lives 18 miles one way from school. The car gets 23 mpg and the cycle, 35 mpg. Gasoline is currently $3.69 per gallon. This week, rain is forcast for M T & W; R & F should be sunny. Set up a solution template such that each week the daily forcast can be entered and a weekly cost will be generated. Variables such as mpg, distance from school, and cost of gasoline should be displayed and allow for changes.
I think I need to nest an IF function with a VLOOKUP and have tried with many failed attempts.
Any suggestions?
