Hi Everyone,
I would like to automatically calculate the total shift hours for a timesheet. However, when I enter the time. I use the format hh.mm (in 24 hr time) into a "Number" cell format.
eg a 10.30am - 4pm shift would be entered in 2 seperate cells as
A1 - 10.30
B1 - 16 (displayed with 2 decimals, so it reads as 16.00)
When I then calculate the shift hours, (finish time - start time), it comes up with 5.7 hours, rather than 5.5 hours.
I dont want to have to enter shift times in .25/.5/.75 format, as I want the TIME to be displayed.
Is there a way around this?
