i'm learning pp this days and i have a problem

i have a samll Db with the followin columns: Material number, Sales, year.

and now i want to use the following: =CALCULATE([Sales],Table1[Year]=2011)

but i get an error "Column 'Sales' cannot be found or may not be used in this expression."

The sales column and the year column are "whole number" format.

What could it be ?

Thanks,
Aviad

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hey Aviad,

can you change the [sales] to be an aggregate within the calculate function? let's say a SUM

That could possibly do the trick.
