calculate if your sales are up or down with a nice chart

Hello Everyone,

Can you please help me make a trend chart to determine if our sales of units in this time span is trending up or down.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Try selecting your data as shown (including the headers) then on your Excel ribbon, go to Insert > Recommended Charts > All Charts and choose one that you like from the many that are available,

Thanks, I do see some line charts that take me close to my solution. I am looking for a trend line to show if were growing or decreasing in sales.

I don't think any of the charts include a trendline by default, you have to add one to it yourself.
Choose a chart, then right click and 'Add Trendline'.
