this might be real simple.... i need to calculate what b7+17 is into e7..

I thought the same, although that returns b7+17 days.
i need the hours only.

Is it 17 days or 17 hours you're trying to add to the date?

17 hours!

How about this? 17 hours is a fraction of a day so divide by 24.
