Hi,

I have data of employees from Jan 2018 to Dec 2018 and I need to calculate the Average headcount by Jan 2018 and Average headcount by Dec 2018. Is there any formula that you suggest?

Thanks

Hi,

The formula will depend on your interpretation of what you are calling the ' Average Headcount ' ...

Do you need to weight it by the various individual durations or not ...?

Hi James,

Thank you for your help. I need to calculate average headcount for various individual, i.e. list of all employees during 2018 from Jan to Dec 2018 and calculate their AVG HC each month. Does that make sense?

Thanks
