Calculate altitude from longitude and latitude

Hi erverybody,

do you know if it is possible to calculate the altitude of a geopoint only from the longitude and latitude?
On the internet there are several Websites where i can manually insert the data but i need these data for more than thousand Geopoints.

You can get this using a Google API, not sure if you have used one before, it requires an account to get an API key:
