Hi,
I have a master documents that takes data off approximately 20 other workbooks, however some of these workbooks are password protected.
Is there was way (coding or macros) that entering the passwords can be stopped - as its a pain having to click several boxes to either input (or not) the password.

Thanks
Iain

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
maybe

Code:
application.displayalerts = false
'rest of your macro here
application.displayalerts = true

Thanks for your help. I'll look into those aspects and try and insert coding for the passwords to negate the need for a password to be entered.
Cheers

I note there is a fundamental difference between your problem descriptions here and at ExcelForum. There you refer to "several other worksheets"; here you refer to "approximately 20 other workbooks". Any solution will depend on using code applicable to the situation you're actually dealing with.

Fair answer Macropod - currently there are about 9 workbooks linked to the master spreadsheet but as our workers go back into schools I envisage there being about 20 linked workbooks in the upcoming month.
