Button to unhide rows and protect sheet

I am looking to make a button on a protected sheet and hook it up to a macro opens a box to enter a password that unhides row then protects the sheet again. the ultimate goal is to have 4 of these buttons all with different passwords that unhides only the salary information of a department.

I am stuck please help

If you are really serious about protecting salary information, I would not recommend using Excel, for the following reasons:
- It is easy to get the information from hidden sheets, as Excel formulas can access values from other sheets, even hidden ones.
- Unfortunately, password protection in Excel is not overly secure.
