I have a current database that has two OLE fields, one for a PDF/JPEG and the other for an excel spreadsheet. How do you program a button so when pushed it will prompt the users into a screen to retrieve these files? Please help!

Do you mean you'd like to retrieve the path to the indicated files?
What you probably want is the OpenFileDialog window type approach.

What this does is really return the path to an object that the user selects. Minor modifications could let you extract all contents of a folder or just a single file.

Try this:

For the button itself, you could put something like this behind the Click event for a button:

Code:
Private Sub Command2_Click() ' OpenFile Dialog
Dim strFile As String

strFile = RecallFileLocation
If Len(strFile) > 0 Then
 '
 ' This is where you'd have to insert your own code to write to the table
 '
 Call YourProcedureNameHere(strFile)
Else
 MsgBox "Cancelled"
End If

End Sub
