Bulk Excel Document Merge

I have a bunch of excel spreadsheets, I want to just have them all dumped into a single spreadsheet (not separate sheets nor do I need to create a relationally managed database)

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
