Build a macro to pull in 5 data sheets each hour and update status?

Hi guys,

Just wondering on the feasibility of a proposed project.

Currently we have to go through a huge process at 5 different locations to get data. Time consuming, added risk and frankly a waste of life itself. It also means that information becomes outdated very quickly.

We are going to start getting delivered information to a set location each hour. (delivered in excel format unless there is a better way?).

I'm looking to see if it is possible to develop a macro to pull all the data in creating a one stop shop. Each data point will have a unique ID with several static fields. One field which gives the status of the data can change to several scenarios.

Per below mock up, is it possible to have a macro that will pull the data in each hour (or whenever manually refreshed) and which will change the status of the trade. The kicker is that when data is fully satisfied, it will not be on the data, so it would have to be able to recognise this, and reflect it as succcessful.

I'd also need to keep user comments as to actions taken (eg like in Column G) for records and retention in case anyone needed to go back to it at some point.

Column F would hopefully just work of a VLOOKUP and to deliver a cookie cut message based on the status. So if all action is done on a data, the user could quickly filter it out without hassle whilst waiting for it to drop off the report (and also to hide data which is now successfully completed)

The main focus on this, is to see if it is possible and to get the opinion of the experts here to see if it could actually be built reliably. There is a fair amount of risk on the back of the data points so I would need to make sure that it would be possible to have it pretty tight. I'm fairly good at excel but haven't really touched VBA before outside of some general recorder settings. Am I being too ambitious?

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.

Is my mock up, doesn't seem to appear on first post.
