Hi,

while I'm new to this forum, I'd call myself pretty advanced when it comes to Excel. But since some days I have a problem with Pivot Tables.

I'm working with Excel 2016. When I try to change the source of a Pivot Table from one sheet to another, Excel just doesn't do it. It either keeps the original source, or uses the data in the first tab of my excel sheet instead.

Here is my example:
Tab1 has two columns of data, A and B.
Tab2 has two columns of data, A and B as well.
Same Headlines, different Data.
I create a pivot table based on Tab1. Then I try to change the datasource to Tab2. It doesn't give me any notification of failure or something, but it just doesn't change the source.

So it seems to be a simple action, but it just doesn't work anymore. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for your help!

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
