Bug? Inserting Row (Keyboard Shortcut) doesn't add a row but instead moves all my formulas down one cell

Hi all, I've only recently gotten this weird behavior out of Excel so I'm not sure what's going on.

I press Ctrl+Shift+Plus and a row does not get inserted but all the formulas in the cells below the section I'm supposed to be inserting get stepped down by 1 cell. For example, if a cell below has the formula of A1+A2, it becomes A2+A3 even if the actual rows didn't change (because no row was actually inserted). I can still insert rows manually with no issue, it only happens when I use the keyboard shortcut.

Hoping if anyone encountered the same problem.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Works fine here if I select the row beforehand.

It's driving me crazy because I've been using the keyboard shortcut to insert rows for years (after highlighting the row with shift+space) and it only started happening last week. I am certain I didnt change any of the settings so I'm clueless and I haven't found anything similar online

In Post #1 you say "I press Ctrl+Shift+Plus" and in Post #3 you say "Shift+space".
I tried it with what you mentioned in the first post and that works for me.

Have there been any changes in the keyboard or regional settings?
One thing to try.
Go to your PC Windows Settings -> Search for Advanced Keyboard Settings -> Input language hot keys -> change key sequence -> check "Not assigned" on both columns. -> OK.

Test if this fixes it.

There have been a lot of reports of this kind of behaviour recently, which appears to be a bug in the latest release. Either roll it back if you can, or wait for the fix.

Unfortunately, this hasn't fixed it. Thanks for helping though.
