Hi,
I have a problem that I cannot find a way to get around as follows:
I am using a link to a user defined formula from a 3rd pary add-in.
I am using the file on two computers (home and office), one running on windows 7 and the other is XP.
The file uses a full path formula, i.e. C:/Program Files....FormulaName... (although the add-in is installed and ribbon is active)
The problem is that on the XP computer the ribbon is installed on C:/Program files.... and on the windows 7 it's C:/Program files (x86)... and so I get broken links (#NAME error)when switching back and forth between the computers.
I cannot understand why the formula keeps switching to full path even though the Add-In is installed (From what I understand when source file/add-in are open the path should be dropped by excel and only the user defined formula shown).
I cannot figure out a way around this.
I hope this message is not too confusing or long.
Appreciate any assistance.
Available to give more details s.a. full formulas & paths etc..
Thank You!!
