Gads! I love all the new features in Excel 2016, but why in heaven's name did they do away with the MDI! I frequently have several workbooks open at the same time, on the one instance of Excel on my Left Monitor, and have my Right monitor reserved for Email, Lync, Shortcuts and all kinds of other things.

All my Shortcuts and personal ribbons were in my one instance of Excel 2010, and it was super efficient. I will have to change my whole method of working with the SDI, and I don't like it one bit.

Would it kill them to let the user choose? Bill Jellen, and anyone else who has an in with the folks at Microsoft, -- Please PLEASE get them to give us back our MDI!
