Can anyone help?

I am quite new to VBA and recently obtained the Brilliant Excel 2007 VBA & Macros book by Bill Jelen & Tracy Syrstad. The problem is, I can't seem to get past the first exercise. I can record the first Macro as shown in Figure 1.12, however when I record the second Macro Figure 1.13 for Invoice 2 and press Control+i as recorded in the first (invoice 1) macro, it defaults back to the first Macro, instead of the example as shown in Figure 1.13

Hello and welcome to The Board.
I am a bit confused as those references (figures 1.2. and 1.13) don't seem to match your description.
In my copy of the book figures 1.12 and 1.13 refer to the same recorded macro but the second reference describes what would happen if the recorded macro was later run when there could be more rows of data.
Can you give more information please?

Thanks for buying the book!

Record the first macro.
Save that file and close that file.

Then, record the 2nd macro in a new blank workbook.

When I do this live in a seminar, we go through four different tries, each starting from a fresh workbook.
