I would like to have an xlsx file with data and an xlsx file for the user that is linked to the data. What I need to happen for security reasons is that if the link is broken between the two files, the last data used in the user file will be gon the next time the user file is opened. I want the user file to have an error if the two files are separated. Is that possible?
I would like to do this without using macros or VBA and make it so that it cannot be overridden.
Any help will be appreciated.
