break down existing power bi model

hi all, i have inherited someone else's models and i am trying to figure out just what they have done. i am still new to Power BI so don't know my way around properly yet. how does one break down/ decompile/ sort out someone else's work? any tips or tricks would be really helpful.

Look at the data in the tables

And look for measures added (formulas not seen in the tables), look for a calculator symbol next to the fields.

And check the relationships between the tables.

Hover over the arrows on the lines between the tables to see the relationship.
