hi, i need to build a system that allows 11 cars to be hired out to any given customer for any given amount of days.
how do i make sure these cars don't get double booked????
for example if there is a table for the cars and a table for bookings where there is a foreign key linking to the cars table. I have an outdate field and an indate field but how do i stop that same car from being booked on the dates between the outdate and indate?
any help would be much appreciated.
