I am looking to improve my knowledge of macros. I need to "clean up" spreadsheets by performing a series of filtering, unfiltering, copying data, putting in formulas and dragging them down, and using IF/THEN logic as well.

Can you guys recommend a good clean book or website where I can teach myself how to write these kinds of macros in Excel 2010? I don't want to dive into the ocean, I want to be directed to the pond I need.

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
