Hi,

In my sheet I have in column R2:R500 different amounts to be paid based on a certain date(s) in column D2:D500.

These date(s) passed, column O2:O500 will show a higher amount (original amount with penalty) an I want those cells blinking and not the ones where amount is equal.

I am totally aware that blinking cells are not good for anyone with photo-sensitive epilepsy, which doesn't apply to me and the workbook is for my eyes only and will not be shared.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards
AK

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
I came across this post that might help

Cross-posting (posting the same question in more than one forum) is not against our rules, but the method of doing so is covered by #13 of the Forum Rules.

Be sure to follow & read the link at the end of the rule too!

Cross posted at: Blinking cell(s)
There is no need to repeat the link(s) provided above but if you have posted the question at other places, please provide links to those as well.

If you do cross-post in the future and also provide links, then there shouldn’t be a problem.

This blinking effect can be done with vba but if you want the blinking to run continuously, it will require some type of timer/cyclical event which will slow down excel tremendously
