Blank Userform

I just created a form that displays when the workbook opens... Userform1.show vbmodeless.

Basically, the userform contains a textbox which informs the user that something else is being done. The problem with this is just a blank Userform with no textbox appears. Now, if I just use 'Userform1.show' (without vbmodeless) it works. But thats not what I want. What is going on and how can I show the Userform (with the message) as modeless?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
If the form is displaying and not the text box, then I suspect your problem lies elsewhere as the modality of a form won't have an affect on a control's visibility.

What kind of message requires a modeless form to show it? This behavior doesn't really make sense ... but I'm not sure I see why you'd want to do this anyway ...
