Blank Cell Check

I want to look at cells AR3, AS3, AT3, and AW3. If all of these are blank, I want to put an "x" in AV3. What's the easiest way to do this? (AR, AS, AT & AW could have text in them.

=if(and(AR3="",AS3="",AT3="",AW3=""),"x","")
