Hey guys,

Another fairly simple one for ya. I created some dashboards that track On Time Delivery performance, for various businesses and I was wondering what would be the best way to protect the excel file.

I have already done the Protect Workbook (structure and Windo) and set a password for that, so I am good there.

The tab with the actaul Dashboard still shows all of the forumals and the business leaders could potentially delete fields, which would not be good. The file is set to read only, so they wouldn't be able to save it that way.

The question is how to protect dashboard so they can still use the drop down menu, but not allow them to edit the outputs from their selections?

Is it possible to lock rows of data or individual cells????

Thanks is advance for your help.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
