Hi All

I have been a fan of this site for a long while now, I have never before had that much need for using VBA however I enjoyed playing around with it.
The problem I have now is I am trying to complete a project which I feel VBA is suitable to use but due to my dyslexia I have found learning from the books to be quite difficult, I am very conscious of becoming irritating to people on here so could anyone suggest any other ways to learning without causing all the regulars on here to get fed up with me?

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
That's a pretty comprehensive list of links, and you should find plenty of resources there.
Just remember though, that the best way to learn is to have a real project to work on. That's how you see the process through.
Don't worry about whether you're annoying or not -- annoying is caused by attitude problems, and most people will pick those up quickly and steer clear of you if you're abrupt or abrasive, or just flaccid. If you really want to learn, make that known, lay out the questions in enough detail so that people know what you need (we're not mind readers!) and take it from there.
When you complete the project you'll have a sense of achievement, then you can pick up the next one and keep going. Down the track, many people who start by asking questions become answerers as well, and that's a big part of what makes this site so good.

Solution
Thank you for the response,
I have a project that I am currently working on (although I think I may have over complicated some of the apsects of it lol) and I will probably be asking many questions over the next few months and appreciate anyone who takes the time to respond.
I keep looking through all the new threads to see if there is anything I can answer, hopefully there will come a time when I can with confidence.
