what would be the best way to learn vb? would it be by classes or does anyone know of a useful book? even just to get the hang of the basics.

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
If you have learnt other languages before then the best way is just too practice, I starting using VB about a month ago and have learnt far more than any book just from making alot of spreadsheets for work and being active on this board, alot of very smart people with alot of very good advice

I don't know if it's the right or wrong way, but I started out by recording macros and then looking at the code to understand how it worked. Then I just read the help files, and came to places like this.
