Hi All,
What I am attempting to create is an online vacation request using a calendar of some type. The employee would have to select a date, input an "R" for initial request, "C" for cancel and "2" for second request dates not requested would be left blank. Vacation requests can vary from a day here and there to weeks at a time. Currently we do this with hard copies and 300+ employees, which is very time consuming. I am trying to automate the whole system.

Would it be better to use text boxes on a form that I have setup or is there a possible way using some type of calendar?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Also could someone suggest a couple of books that would help me out in my ventures with Access?

Thanks,
Deb
