Best way to create a document with charts, tables and text ?

I am a totally beginner in Access, I am using Access 2002 and I am wondering what is the best way to create a complete document with into it a multiple pivot chart, an extract of a table with calculated fields and some text.

If you can give me some directions, some advice it would be great.

What you are describing is a fairly complex report.

It would have this sort of structure...

Body of report (this is text, with headings as appropriate). In the Detail section, you can put the text (assuming it will be different for each record). If it will the same piece of text on every page of the report, then the text goes in a header or footer.

In the Detail section,
One subreport which creates and displays the pivotchart.
Another subreport which displays the extract of the table.

Each of these (the main report and the 2 subreports) will be based on a query -- possibly a different one for each part of the final report.
The pivotchart will probably need to be a form, used in the report.

In summary, it's not just something you knock together -- it's a jigsaw puzzle and you will have to create the pieces first, then assemble them.
