I have been teaching myself Power Bi and Power pivot recently and wanted advice on initial design to save me time down the road.
I have a large table that is downloaded automatically from external source with dates in column A, going from oldest to newest. In columns B through CC, I have price data for various different products and will link this data to other tables down the road.
In order to have the most efficient way of writing formulas/measures and utilizing the full scope of power pivot and power bi capability, should I pivot the data to start with via power query and have one date to one product?
Otherwise I will need to write multiple measures for each product?
Thanks
